In English, Karibu means…

Welcome to Karibu Family Care!

karibu (“care-EE-boo”) A greeting phrase meaning 1. Welcome! 2. Come in! Origins: Tanzania

Karibu Family Care was started by husband and wife team, Anthony and Amy Msowoya, as a nurse practitioner owned and operated primary care clinic to serve the health needs of North Peoria and the surrounding areas,

Our mission at Karibu Family Care is to always provide the type of care whereby a patient is not a number, but a person, and as such, deserves to be treated with respect, dignity, love, honesty, receptiveness, compassion and empathy while addressing the needs of mind, body and spirit.

As a family-oriented care practice, we value the personal, one-on-one provider-patient relationship that benefits patients through providing continuous and consistent healthcare
